  • Description text gMaintains clients properties

    Performs planting and related activities.

    Moves materials and equipment and performs related duties to assist in landscaping and hardscaping.

    Digs holes and trenches and excavates for hardscaping features using picks and shovels or related equipment.

    Hauls or spreads topsoil, gravel, sand, mulch, or related materials using wheelbarrows and rakes.

    Maintains a clean and safe work environment, including the work site and equipment

    Qualifications:

    High school degree or GED is preferred

    Ability to read and write

    Valid Tennessee driver’s license and a good driving recordoes here

  • Operates a variety of mechanical equipment including but not limited to back hoes, bobcats, dingos, tillers, sod cutters, weed eaters, plant augers, chain saws, and drills.

    Interacts with clients routinely answering questions and assuring client satisfaction.

    Communicates clients concerns to management.

    Plans and organizes the job, ensuring that sufficient resources and materials are available. Also ensures that job is completed in the most time-efficient manner.

    Manages a team of two or more employees, including handling personnel issues on site and training employees on policies and procedures.

    Maintains a clean and safe work environment, including work site and equipment.

    Briefs supervisors and makes recommendations on job status, personnel issues, or client concerns.

    Qualifications:

    Experience in the landscaping or horticultural field.

    Has a working knowledge of standard horticultural practices, including but not limited to planting, pruning, corrective pruning, and fertilization.

    Strong oral and written communication skills, math skills, job planning skills, and mechanical aptitude are a must

    Ability to operate a truck and trailer combination proficiently

    Valid Tennessee driver’s license and a good driving record

  • Generate new leads and conduct initial client consultation

    Perform all phases of the sales/design process, including client meetings, cost estimates, proposals and project presentation

    Organization of project materials and site details

    Ensure accurate field verification, measurements and analysis

    Coordination with clients, production and subcontractors

    Qualifications:

    Degree in landscape architecture or landscape design required, or equivalent

    Proficiency in Auto-Cad and Microsoft Office products; willingness and ability to learn proprietary software and other programs as necessary

    Firm understanding of landscape plant material appropriate for the Tennessee Valley region; construction products, procedures and techniques; and proper planting techniques

    Experience of installing plants and/or hardscaping materials a plus

    Valid Tennessee driver’s license and a good driving record
